Smithfield Hop and Malt Society (HAMS) is a home brew club based around the Smithfield/ Carrollton area of Hampton Roads. We are a club of people interested in the brewing of Beer, Wine, Mead, Cider!! Please let a member know if you are interested in joining.
HAMS History
Smithfield Hop and Malt Society (HAMS) was formed in May 2015 when a few home brewers met in Jeff and Carrie's garage AKA Bubble Head Taphouse. We have met every month since then to promote homebrewing. We have grown from the original 13 people to over 50 members and 123 Facebook friends. We have brewdays, club parties, brew competitions and friendly social tastings. We now hold meetings at Wharf Hill Brewing Co. every 2nd Thursday of the month. Come join us!
